The starting point
Unclear offer presentation
The existing format didn't support quick comparison of equipment and made it difficult for clients to choose.
No clear contact path
Users had no straightforward flow from browsing equipment to submitting an enquiry.
Poor mobile usability
A significant share of traffic was mobile, and the older layout didn't provide a comfortable catalogue browsing experience.
What we did structurally
New information architecture
We restructured the site so users reach key equipment categories more quickly.
Clear product blocks
We prepared modules presenting equipment specifications and use cases in a simple, scannable layout.
Mobile-first approach
The interface was optimised for smartphones without sacrificing usability on desktop.

About the project
GrandFox Rental is a film equipment rental company operating in the Kraków market. The challenge was presenting a large and varied catalogue - cameras, lighting, sound, accessories - in a clear and easy-to-navigate way, with a straightforward path to contact.
Previously, clients called with questions like “what do you have” instead of “I want to book this specific set”. The site was meant to change that pattern.
How we solved the structure problem
Information architecture was key. We grouped equipment into logical categories with filtering, so a filmmaker could find exactly what they need in 30 seconds, check the specification, and move on to contact. Mobile-first - a large proportion of visitors check equipment availability from the film set, on their phone.
The CMS panel allows the GrandFox Rental team to update the catalogue independently - adding new equipment, changing descriptions without involving a developer. This was important given the dynamically rotating offer of a rental business.
The project was built on WordPress in collaboration with designer Kamil Solipiwko. The result - clients come with specific questions, because they’ve browsed the offer online before contacting us.
